Seagen’s new cGMP manufacturing facility “project Launchpad” is being built in Everett, Washington, just North of Seattle. Launchpad will be a greenfield build encompassing end-to-end manufacturing capabilities for biologics and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).
Position Summary
As a Manufacturing solution architect at Seagen, you will have the opportunity to join a team of IT professionals collaborating with and supporting the business needs of our Supply Chain Operations, and Manufacturing. As you collaborate with these organizations, you will provide technical consultation, project leadership from design to implementation, IT GMP validation execution and administration support for assigned systems. The position requires solid technical understanding, as well as verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
Lead Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Business Analyst for Oracle EBS in support of Internal and external manufacturing (OPM), Inventory management, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems with barcode labelling and scanning), Quality, MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
- Support all phases (requirements gathering/design/testing/documentation/training) in SDLC
- Responsible for providing day-to-day user support, support of assigned IT systems/applications along with ongoing project implementations
- Ability to create table level ad hoc SQL research queries
- Conduct cross-training within the team for knowledge transfer
- Collaborate with project managers including developing detailed project timelines, communication, documentation, resource management, vendor, and finance management
- Conduct business analysis, requirements gathering, systems analysis, as-is/future business process documentation and application administration tasks
- Represent the needs of internal customers to the solution vendor(s)
Participate in GxP validations/qualifications of system requirements
- Develop effective working relationships with internal customers and vendors
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and knowledge of IT solutions, applications management through product cycles and business environments
- Identify risk and mitigation plans in conjunction with the business and other IT partners
Required Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree in Computer Science, business, or life science field
- 10+ years of experience as System Analyst supporting and implementing large scale IT solutions including software deployment, business analysis, project management, process improvement and computer systems validation, preferably including Inventory management, WMS, MES and third-party integrations of MES with Oracle
- Experience developing and supporting an integrated enterprise level ERP system, preferably Oracle EBS (Supply Chain operations, WMS, Quality) along with third party MES integrations
- Experience in working with matrix organizations and working effectively with cross functional, multi-location and multi-cultural teams
- Excellent verbal and communication skills, excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent documentation skills including requirements, functional and technical specifications, test scripts and validation protocols
- Experience supporting systems and processes utilizing GMP validations/qualifications
- Demonstrated technical understanding of application architecture to include application servers, web servers, configuration files, relational databases, SQL, and reporting applications
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently
- MS-Office knowledge (Microsoft project, PowerPoint, Visio)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle Order management and Shipping, Cost Accounting
- Experience with ALM for GxP validation/qualifications purposes
- 3+ years of experience in Biotechnology or Pharma industries

The hiring pay range for this position is $127,000 – 164,000 per year based on skills, education, and experience relevant to the role. Other components of total compensation include a competitive equity grant at the time of hire (with additional annual grants, and grants upon promotion when applicable), and an annual bonus.
