Description

Summary

The Tucatinib brand team is looking for an in-line marketing team member to lead the execution of key promotional tactics associated with the digital channel, which includes digital marketing, social media marketing and all other multi-channel marketing initiatives.

The Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing is responsible for partnering with the brand and media teams to develop digital programs that align with brand strategy and create integrated digital and social media experiences for patients and consumers to support achievement of brand goals.

Primary accountabilities include launch planning support, definition of channel strategy and tactics, and effectively applying a current, in-depth understanding of how patients and consumers are engaging with digital and social media content. This position will report to the Director of Marketing for Tucatinib and work closely with leadership in Sales, Managed Markets, Global Market Insights and Market Planning, as well as well as Corporate Communications, Advocacy and other relevant cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of the digital channel and social media strategies for Tucatinib, including the business plan, communication tactics, production and implementation plans. Ensure key consumer insights, data and understanding are represented and leveraged throughout the brand planning process.
  • Lead execution of marketing strategies for the digital channel and social media efforts, including all related initiatives and tactics; ensure delivery of a positive, compliant patient and consumer experience, and meet annual business plan goals.
  • Partner with the media team, PR and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive strategy across all owned, earned and paid digital and social channels.
  • Effectively participate in PARC (Medical/Legal/Regulatory Review); accountable for ensuring all digital and social deliverables are reviewed and approved per established processes.
  • Lead agency team to develop creative, customized content for social media channels; consult on new digital formats and best practices across all digital and social channels. Build and maintain productive agency relationships and effectively manage integration among agency partners.
  • Proactively monitor emerging digital and social trends; anticipate and resolve challenges that will arise as technologies and platforms change.
  • Collaborate with the Global Market Insights team to identify key insights for the brand and channel, maintain a current understanding of patient and consumer data, and identify opportunities to improve relevant marketing efforts. Use this information to refine digital and social tactics accordingly.
  • Effectively manage digital and social media marketing budgets; advocate as necessary with the brand team to secure funding for key initiatives, make sound recommendations to the team on budget trade-off decisions and risk management.
  • Responsible for adherence to all relevant company policies and processes, as well as applicable external compliance obligations.
  • Develop and actively monitor measures to assess the performance of digital and social media marketing efforts; evolve or discontinue tactics as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • 3 – 5 years of digital and social media marketing experience, including basic to moderate understanding of digital aid media.
  • Commercial biotech or pharmaceutical experience required; oncology experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate consumer insights and brand strategies into effective channel strategies and tactics.
  • Broad expertise across multiple digital channels and in-depth expertise in social media.
  • Proven capabilities in content and creative development.
  • Knowledge of OPDP regulations and FDA promotional policy.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence without authority across functional stakeholders to set direction, align work efforts, and ensure execution. Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams to deliver results.
  • Working knowledge of product development, regulatory, clinical and medical affairs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of appropriate marketing and medical interactions.
  • Ability to establish and foster productive, collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders; capable of working effectively and respectfully with a diverse group of people.
  • Experience effectively managing external marketing agencies, project plans and budgets.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
  • High attention to detail is required.
  • Ability to independently resolve complex problems swiftly and effectively; ensure leadership and key stakeholders are informed as necessary and appropriate.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills up, down and across the organization.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10 – 15% of the time.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required; MBA, Pharm.D., Ph.D. or other related graduate-level degree strongly preferred.
